Terms And Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "you," or "your") and All About Cleaning ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") regarding the use of our cleaning services in the Kansas City area. By scheduling, booking, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Service Description

All About Cleaning provides professional residential and commercial cleaning services in Kansas City, Missouri, and surrounding areas. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Regular house cleaning and maintenance
  • Deep cleaning services
  • Move-in and move-out cleaning
  • Office and commercial cleaning
  • Apartment cleaning services
  • Eco-friendly green cleaning
  • Maid services
  • Specialized cleaning as requested

Booking and Scheduling

Service Requests

All service requests must be made through our authorized booking channels (phone, website, or approved platforms). Service requests are subject to availability and confirmation by our team.

Scheduling Changes

Changes to scheduled services must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Same-day changes may be accommodated based on availability but are not guaranteed. Reasonable notice for cancellations helps us maintain efficient scheduling for all clients.

Access to Property

You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property during scheduled service times. This includes:

  • Ensuring doors are unlocked or providing access codes/keys
  • Disabling security systems as needed
  • Providing clear instructions for property access
  • Ensuring safe working conditions for our team

Pricing and Payment Terms

Service Rates

Service rates are determined based on property size, cleaning requirements, frequency of service, and specific client needs. All pricing is provided in advance and agreed upon before service delivery.

Payment Methods

We accept payment through various methods including cash, check, and electronic payments. Payment terms will be specified in your service agreement and may vary based on service type and frequency.

Late Payments

Late payments may result in service suspension and additional fees. Continued service depends on maintaining current payment status.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to adjust pricing with reasonable advance notice. Existing clients will receive notification of price changes before they take effect.

Service Quality and Satisfaction

Quality Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work and offer a satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us within 24 hours of service completion to address any concerns.

Re-cleaning Policy

If you are not satisfied with the initial cleaning, we will return to address specific concerns at no additional charge, provided you notify us within the specified timeframe.

Service Standards

Our team follows established cleaning protocols and safety procedures. Service quality may vary based on property conditions, accessibility, and specific requirements discussed in advance.

Client Responsibilities

Property Preparation

To ensure efficient and thorough cleaning, clients should:

  • Remove personal items and clutter from surfaces
  • Secure valuable or fragile items
  • Provide clear access to areas to be cleaned
  • Inform us of any special instructions or concerns
  • Ensure pets are secured or removed from work areas

Property Conditions

Clients must inform us of any hazardous conditions, special requirements, or unusual circumstances that may affect service delivery or team safety.

Communication

Clear communication regarding expectations, special requests, and any changes helps us provide the best possible service.

Liability and Insurance

Insurance Coverage

All About Cleaning maintains comprehensive liability insurance and bonding coverage. Our team members are covered under our insurance policies during the performance of their duties.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the cleaning service provided. We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage to property or fixtures
  • Damage resulting from normal wear and tear
  • Items left in unsafe or unstable positions
  • Damage to items not properly secured by the client
  • Loss of items not reported within 24 hours of service

Damage Claims

Any damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion. We will investigate all legitimate claims and work toward fair resolution.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Client Cancellations

Clients may cancel services with appropriate notice:

  • Regular services: 24-hour notice required
  • One-time services: 24-hour notice recommended
  • Same-day cancellations may incur fees

Company Cancellations

We may need to cancel or reschedule services due to weather conditions, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances. We will provide as much advance notice as possible.

No-Show Policy

If our team arrives for a scheduled appointment and cannot gain access to the property (when access was expected to be provided), a service fee may apply.

Termination of Services

Client Termination

Clients may terminate regular cleaning services with reasonable notice. Final payment for services rendered is due upon termination.

Company Termination

We reserve the right to terminate services for:

  • Non-payment of fees
  • Unsafe working conditions
  • Abusive or inappropriate behavior toward staff
  • Violation of these Terms and Conditions
  • Other circumstances that prevent safe or effective service delivery

Confidentiality and Security

Client Privacy

We respect your privacy and maintain confidentiality regarding your personal information, property details, and home security measures.

Staff Conduct

Our team members are trained to maintain professional conduct and respect client privacy at all times. Any concerns about staff behavior should be reported immediately.

Security Measures

We maintain security protocols for handling keys, access codes, and other sensitive information. All staff members undergo background checks and training.

Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any delay or failure in performance under this agreement if such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, pandemic restrictions, or other unforeseeable events.

Dispute Resolution

Communication First

We encourage direct communication to resolve any concerns or disputes. Most issues can be resolved through open dialogue and mutual understanding.

Formal Disputes

Any formal disputes will be resolved according to Kansas and Missouri state laws, as applicable to the service location.

Mediation

If direct communication does not resolve disputes, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

For significant changes that materially affect your rights or obligations, we will make reasonable efforts to notify clients in advance.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri and the State of Kansas, depending on the location where services are provided, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with any service agreements and invoices, constitute the entire agreement between you and All About Cleaning regarding our services.
